Moving on.........again

Well, our time is nearly up in our furnished apartment, and we are 3 weeks in to being back here in the US. Some things have happened,  Simon is busy rehearsing for Oliver, Dad is back in hospital with hyperkalemia (High Potassium), We have managed 1 night out just the 2 of us, We found an apartment and got 2 cars - RAV4 and a Mazda MX5.  I also got a job, found a preschool and have been filling the forms out for kindergarten.

So with a new bed arriving on Saturday my mission is to go and buy some bedding.  Nathaniel is having a trial at a karate class too.

We move to our new apartment on Saturday and await our belongings which will arrive in a futher 8 weeks, In for a hot week as we just had a storm on saturday night which passed and left the air clear

So on to a sunny monday morning...

beautiful sunny weekend, temperatures reaching over 70 and definately in need of lighter clothes and sun cream,

This is a totally amazing feeling after having been stuck in the misery of UK weather for the past 6 months.  We got a new car a RAV4 so hopefully it will continue to keep us safe as we travel around.

Meanwhile we are still at times a little tired (the sunshine often does that to me).

Plans for next week are pretty much the same catching up with friends and feeling comfortable

California here we are!

this has been an amazing time for us, traveling back to the US, but arriving in California in the pouring rain didnt do much to dampen our spirits.

We, travelled from the airport in our hire car and after a few stop offs we found ourselves at our apartment, and it was just as we expected, nathaniel was thrilled to have his own bathroom. We crashed out pretty quickly.

Sunday was crazy and busy but fitted everything in which included seeing a Play "A funny thing happened on the way to the forum"

Monday - Nathaniel and I travelled around picking up a few things and catching up with some friends,

Tuesday we celebrated "Shrove Tuesday" with Pancakes and fun with Amelia and Ronnie and went to the park, the sun was quite hot and so lovely.

Wednesday we played again with Amelia and Ronnie and it included some mini golf and buying some new shoes, Simon is expected home soon, and it will be good to see him after his trip to Los Angeles.

Thursday will be quieter... but i think we are home
